Thai Ladyboy pop group - Venus Flytrap

Not long after I came across such fine Ladyboy Kpop stars as Harisu, or the amazing Korean pop group - Lady, did I happen to stumble upon yet another diamond in the rough. Looks like I wasn’t the only one either, as one of The Lady Blog’s old-school readers, Exar, also mentioned these hot Ladyboys in an email to me recently.
Venus Flytrap is Thailand’s first all Ladyboy pop group, and only the second all Ladyboy pop group in the world. These nice girls have respect for their Korean predecessors, and even stated in an interview that they get inspiration from the beautiful Ladyboys who went up and against all odds in Korea…a country less open to Ladyboys than Thailand (though still a lot more accepting of them than most Western countries).
I would like to wish Venus Flytrap all the luck in the world, and it looks like they’re already off to a good start! These sexy Thai hotties are backed by Sony Music, and I have to say that I respect Sony a lot for being willing to produce an Asian Ladyboy band.
Unfortunately, they don’t appear to have an official website up yet (if anyone finds one, please post the URL in the comments below!). What minimal information I was able to find, is mostly from translated interviews posted on various websites around the net.
They’re being compared to The Spice Girls, but I ask you…who would you rather have in your bed? No offense to The Spice Girls, but Venus Flytrap completely blows them outta the water!
One thing the beautiful Ladyboys of Venus Flytrap seem to want to make clear is…THIS AIN’T NO CABARET SHOW!!! They mentioned that in a few interviews I read, and I guess they’re tired of Ladyboy performers often being stereotyped as cabaret singers, or drag queens.
Venus Flytrap is a whole different scene, and even if their music isn’t your style, one thing I think we can all agree on is…the Thai Ladyboys in this pop group are absolutely smokin! I hope to see more of them in the months to come. But for now, here’s the video for one of their new singles titled,

Hey acrylic, good work putting this media on the site! Forget the whole Spice Girls comparison though, even Baby Spice (I recall having an unrequited crush on her years ago..bah!), no these girls are amazing, sure are outreageously flamyboyant going by some interview clips on Youtube! What guy couldn’t have fun handing out with one of these girls. I was able to gather that some of the members were successful beauty pageant competitors, Miss Tiffany awards were one I think.

I just couldn’t believe Venus Flytrap was being compared to them…people saying they’re the Ladyboy Spice Girls, and stuff like that. There’s no comparison in my opinion.
If you guys find any other good info on these hotties, be sure to point me in the right direction. I’m not sure, but I think the main singer in the video (with the straight, jet-black hair) may be the beauty pageant competitor. Pretty sure I saw another video of her from a pageant in Thailand…and it was hot!
